I think it sucks. The old one was better. :/ Then again, that might just be the touch of xenophobia in me. xP I still think it was fine the way it was, though.

What do you guys think?

Glitchy piece of crap. Half the comment page is made up of "Publisher comments" Which can hold up to 3 comments. Then, there is the top comments, which take up 2 more, which makes you have to scroll all the way down to see the up to date comments.

No more "More From This User" tab, on the side. It is now just one LONG list of related videos, and god forbid if a smaller youtube user happens to have one of his OTHER videos in that list.

The sidebar is no more, as most of you have noticed. It's now a drop down under the screen bar. As if youtube users didn't read the sidebar enough then. NOW it is as if it is invisible, by cutting down the width, and character limit. Now videos are going to be habitats from trolls, who can't read (click) the side (bottom...) bar.

Comments are now censored. Youtube is about expression and creativity, am I right? I place to post yourself for the world to see/hear. Now the website is trying to tell us what we can and cannot say?

Then there is the subscribe button. Partners are now getting all the attention. The subscribe button on partner videos will have a black pop up box over it, telling you to subscribe if you liked the video. Seeing most frequent youtubers are attracted to flashy and sexy codes, this will just pull them in. What happened to good old honest to godness youtube?

Chances are that I am going to give up with youtube. Layouts, censorship, WMG, trolls, unfair advertisements, ect. This isn't "Youtube" anymore. Might as well call this crap "Googletube," or "Theytube." The only way to get anywhere on the site, now a days, is to spend hour after hour advertising on Fred's channel for blank and emotionless comments/views, or to become a YTPartner.

[/rant]

YouTube will probably remove the related videos entirely soon and simply use it to advertise all the people they love (like Fred) to make more money. From 2005-2007, YouTube was a community. Now, it's a corporation.

I have given up on fighting youtube and their stupid new ideas for designs back when they changed everything from how it was originally, it's like they are going back in time.

The only thing I like about the new layout is the Thumbs up and Thumbs down rating system. It's awesome how you can see how many people liked the video and didn't. It's a better visual than the 5 stars system.

I enjoy the 5 star system since there are some videos which are worth 3 stars, but not 4-5 stars. It give me more choice.

I notice the new layout requires more mouse clicking and moving to find the subscribe button, or share thr vid link on Twitter or FB.

I don't like how "Youtube Partner" videos are sometimes promoted to the top of the related videos and posted everywhere on YT.

I notice the new layout to kind of laggy and slow, too.

Makes me want to watch videos on Dailymotion more...

I absolutely hate it. It's annoying as heck. User friendly is being able to have easily reachable controls visible. In this one, it's like you have to click 3 buttons just to get any sort of good info or controls. It's just... annoying.

I don´t get it. Everything is all over the place, I can´t even find the video now 😛.

Also a lot more lag, hate the way its displayed. The new design makes me want to put dirt in my eyes.

To be honest, I don't mind, although think of it as a decision you make on your forum were alot of members dis-agree but then become use to it soon.

It's going to upset me considering it makes videos lag, though. x_x

For me, when I scroll down, the video just breaks up. Hopefully they will revert back to the old version.

Agreed. I know there's been quite a few people who've been vocal on the website in their videos about some of the issues that have been going on. I would link a video from ScottyNBNP or however that last bit is spelled. But later on it includes a rant about Twilight. And quite a bit of language about his dislike that's going with Youtube.

It just looks so ugly and non-user friendly. I'd rather use another video service to be honest, although I don't really care for the likes of 14 year old kids on there who make money from selling tee-shirts and have orgasms over having a million subscribers who have nothing better to do and watch their videos when bored. Never really go the whole 'Youtube addiction'.
