All my members can't sent PM or us avatar and allot of other features. How can I just let people register without them not being able to sent Pm's and other stuff ?
You can alter the permissions of that group. It is very good to use but if you wish to turn it off go to User registration settings then set the following setting to "0" ----> New member post limit:
You need to alter the permissions in the ACP, but make sure that in the newly registered users group doesn't have an 'Never"s set, make sure they are either no or yes, because if something is set to never, then it disable that feature/permissions globally even if a member is a member of another group that has that permission as yes.
If you've followed Fowler's advise and set the "New members post limit" to 0, users should not be in the Newly Registered Users Group and automatically put in the Registered Users Group.
I'm not sure if this will also move over users that were already in the "Newly RU Group", so try moving them all over manually and removing them from that group.
Make sure to check the permissions!
@ Under Reaction -- Once they're moved to the Registered Users Group they're removed from the Newly ... Group so having set a Never there will not affect normal users. I'm not sure if you already meant this, but thought I would add it.
