Before I left for work this morning I saw on the news about Newspapers going online rather than being printed out and sent to stock in stores. I agree with this idea, I mean, newspapers have been around for 300 years and yet no one has figured out how to keep the ink from rubbing off in your hands. The internet is always developing, and would be a bigger, better resource for news.

Oh, and coupons will be available still. They have different ways to do it.. 😛

I voted Online. I find it easy and convenient, as well as useful as we advance into an age of technology.

Well going online would save the trees because they cant use 100% recycled paper, its the same with cards to they should be just online.

Well, have we thought about the elderly who have no access to a computer.
That's not true.. Anyone has access to a computer. My grandparents use computers.

The point is personal preference. Most newspapers are online now. And by just not reading the newspaper you're not saving any trees. The paper is already printed, just go read it and stop caring about a damn tree.

That's when they go get a computer from their retirement funds and start pressing keys until they get the browser open. 😉

For those of you who are saying that reading it online is convenient, you can't take a PC with you everywhere you go - on the train, for example.

Oh yes, but you're all going to tell me that a laptop is convenient. Well, they need charging. Newspapers don't.

Online for me. I usually read the news online daily. I do however pick up a local paper once a week and my neighbour gets me a paper on a Saturday.

Mine does

In the UK newspapers are sort of online anyway, you can read all the main stories at least without charge.

Obviously it isn't the same for the US though if the paper is owned by Newscorp, you'll have to pay anyway 😛

Many laptops now-a-days are made for travel. And would you really be on a train reading a new paper? On top of that, most cell phones have internet capabilities, even my 70$ boost mobile phone 😛 and if you don't have either of those, you shoulden't be reading a news paper at all, you are too far behind 😛

ANYWAYS, JSYK I voted no, keep it in print, no more comics!
