So the NFL preseason has begun. Do you usually watch any preseason games? Do you think 4 games is enough, or is 4 games too many? I usually don't watch the preseason games, but sometimes I will just turn it on. I won't go out of my way to make sure I'm home to watch the games.
Personally, I think they should cut it down to 3 games. The 4th game is a joke anyway. All the teams let their starters play into the 3rd quarter of the 3rd game, and the 4th they barely play at all. It's just a final audition for rookies.
I usually watch about a week or two, then get tired of it. But the games so far have actually been interesting to watch, so we'll see how long it takes for me to give up on it.
I do not mind having 4 preseason games, especially after a lock out where the players did not get to practice much. It gives people more time to get prepared and avoid injury. I watched the Redskins game, and they looked way better than I thought they would.
I think it should be 2 games and than lets go with real football. I can only stomache watching 5th string QB's after months of no football after that it gets short.
I think it should only be 1 or 2 games long....it's a waste of time to do 4.
I just can't stand watching starters give half an effort for one, maybe two quarters, then watch 3rd or 4th string no-names play the rest of the game....I don't see why anyone would pay to go to these games....
I don't mind the four preseason games, though they are fairly boring after the first two. So far I have watched almost every preseason game and they have been interesting for a change. It's either that or I just missed football.
