Night Vision Effect

Cut the ego, that'd be nice. Overall, it's not a bad effect but seems very much orientated around MW2?

What...ego?
It is a Mw2 based effect

"but it still looks great." That's your view of your own work which is subjective. What really matters isn't your view of the signature, but other's.

On the signature, it's a fairly well recreated effect, only a little bit too much noise I think. It Could be a bit clearer.

iiPod, I seen your work. I love em. I was a member to OneView, sadly it passed away.

But, there is something I must correct you on. Yes, he said, "but it still looks great", and yes that is his opinion.

Since when was an opinion too much ego?

I mean, think about it. He likes his work.

Remember when I created the Tech Skin? First submission to OneView? Well, I use to say that, the skin was the 'sh!$'. Now, I look at it, and I am like "ew".

Now, why did I say it was good? That's because I felt accomplished. I felt as if I reached a goal.

By you telling him to cut the ego, you are bringing his self-esteem down. He likes his work. Respect that.

Now, you can say your opinion also. Which is perfectly fine. Just don't bash the creator.

Sorry for being an a$$. Just don't like to see beginners have a rough time by people who has been doing things for a while.

I myself aren't that good. But I try. I like to try.

Looks cool, nice effect.

How can you help beginners by saying their work is amazing even if it isn't?

Please note, this is not a comment on this particular piece.

iiPod, please respect other members. You don't need to make comments which will put down others, regardless of what you think of it.

Darthmaul, the design isn't great, as it seems a little too blurry. I would tone that down and maybe look at structure, rather than effect. Too much effect can destroy the potential of an image, so balancing the effect with the appearance needs to be worked on.

Hey, if I offended you, then I am sorry. But, try to tell them, nicely, and less harsh. It helps.

Thanks guys, and dotdavid: i have to agree. When working on silents stuff i noticed the effect really cuts down on the visibility. I am working on a 2.0
