First Impressions:
First impressions are nothing too out of the ordinary. I approve of the conceptual idea behind the forum. They are few and far between, so it's nice to see something different. I'm assuming that it's still a work-in-progress, so I won't be too harsh.

Design Quality:
I see phpBB, hosted by Forumotion. I also see an XHTML Transitional doctype, and a theme that overuses the table HTML element. Again, pretty typical of forum software akin to MyBB and phpBB. I'm not a fan. I would suggest experimenting with the HTML5 doctype and using semantic elements. I'm also not a fan of the hotlinked images from Icon Archive.
Color-wise, the dark theme by default makes sense for a forum of this particular subject. The shades of black and orange suit the predominant topic at hand. A suggestion here would be to alter the member group colors to make them stand out better with the dark background; blue and red, especially. This also applies to the red notification within the "Villain of the Month" board description.
The UI is straightforward and simple to use. Your navigation is toward the top, under a header image. Pretty standard for phpBB. I see a music player at the very top which is fixed in position and therefore stays when the forum is scrolled. I must say that I'm happy that it's not set to autoplay. Kudos there. Perhaps experiment in doing something similar functionality-wise with your primary navigation.
Remarking on spelling, punctuation and grammar (en-US), for the most part, it's pretty solid. Two exceptions from the board descriptions are for "TV" ("TV" isn't capitalized) and "Halloween" (you're missing a "to" there).

Site Structure:
There isn't too much to say here. Your categories do have interesting names that don't correspond that well with their purpose, but you've gone down the creative route. All of the boards and their descriptions make sense for their respective categories. Aside from the two aforementioned spelling/grammar suggestions, there's nothing problematic here.
Good
Originality:
Your target audience with a forum of this kind is very specific, which ultimately means less competition for you and the potential to generate a sizable community. I haven't come across that many forums with this area of focus, and I commend it.
With regards to originality for a forum layout, it's pretty typical of a standard theme for the majority of forum software choices out there. That's not strictly a bad thing as everything a member would want to know about a given board is immediately available to them.
Good
Activity Level:
Your forum is 2 weeks old. Again, I won't be too harsh. You have 10 registered members, and 151 posts. 65% of those are your own. Keep going at it, maybe implement the suggestions I've given, and I wish you the very best.

The thing I liked the most:
The overarching concept of the forum.
The thing I liked the least:
The archaic-style theme.
