It was a bit of a last minute/extravagant purchase but the midnight release caught my attention. I convinced my husband to go with me to Best Buy but as we were walking to the end of the line we saw the employee hand out the last few vouchers to the ones that were about 3 or 4 people ahead of us (we were so close!). I was a little sad but was willing to go home after that. My husband tried to search for other Best Buys in the area and I told him I don't want to drive around for this. I suggested we swing by Walmart since we were already near just to see. Sure enough there were 8 people in line for it in the electronics section and the lady at the front of the line told us that they have 14. So yep, we ended up getting it. I've never played Zelda before, I must say... this is one awesome game. 🙂

I haven't gotten one yet. I will probably get one either for my birthday in July or for Christmas. Usually, I am unable to get one when it first comes out but that's alright with me. I like to see what games come out for that console first before I actually purchase one.

I will wait until they drop in price, I don't like getting consoles early, as they have potential to be faulty and that will mean I have to send them back and it can be a pain in the ass. So I prefer getting them a couple of months after a release date.

I don't have it but it seems really cool. I can't afford the $300 for it right now though.

I'm focused on my PS4 right now. Nintendo is for little kids these days, the new system might have a couple cool games pandering to the nostalgic 30+ age group who played NES & SNES growing up but after that, it's all kiddy games.

PS4 is probably better than the Switch, I'm not a fan of handheld devices really.

I don't and I am not planning on getting it either. My Xbox One and PC suit my gaming needs.

I can appreciate what you guys are saying for sure. The graphics on the Xbox One and PS4 are definitely on a whole different league compared to the Nintendo Switch. (We have them all.) The Switch is a whole different experience in my opinion. It's pretty neat to have the option to play it on the TV or as a handheld. Lately my husband has been playing Zelda on his own profile and I've been playing Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 and it's pretty awesome that we can both be doing both at the same time next to each other.

I mean, you should play whatever you enjoy the most, though. I just had to be saucy and plug the PC a bit. 😛

Really want to play Zelda, but can't afford to drop close to $400 just to play Zelda. Will definitely get it around the holidays when price drops.

I have no plans to get one. Pokémon Sun and Moon just came out months ago and I'm still playing them, plus Yoshis new island that I got for Christmas

I don't have one yet! I might want one though. I like that you can just pick it up and take it to another room

Played Zelda at a friends house. Handheld part of it is super cool, want it for myself now.

still got to get the Switch yet 😛
