Nipahchan is basically an entertainment / media community. I would say it mostly fits the nerd/gamer type of folks, but there's also off-topic areas and all too. It is a safe place for people of all walks of life, gender identity, etc. This is very much a custom done forum software, and I was originally gonna put it on XenForo. So basically think of it as like a nerd forum! It's been around since April of 2022.

Yes, I am aware there's some issues with not avatar system, etc. I wanna one day get that added among other modern features.

I forgot to say that this is the stance on NFTs too.

Also yeah, it's an old school message board that does need more modern features added. One day those features maybe added but till then I think it works ok!

Moving the forum to XenForo in the future - Nipahchan

Still on my mind along with a name change. I originally just registered the domain just because and used it for this. I feel like if it was on a modern day software maybe people would use the site more?

It is with regret I am announcing the closure of Nipahchan at the end of the year.

It didn't quite take off as I had wanted it to. I think I'll bring the forum back on XenForo or perhaps do something else with the domain etc. I was going to just go the anime news, gaming news, etc route but that's also too overdone nowadays. Perhaps I will do something way different like the farming sim forum idea even.

Until then enjoy it, save your content, etc. I am planning to just shut down the server by December 31st.

I am super sorry for this short notice. 🙁 I may run a different forum community, or perhaps just not bother with forums at al. I'll let you guys know ASAP!
