No Bots

I haven't had bots on my forum for quite a while. Is this bad?

The only two bots I have had are MSN bot and google Bot

When your forum is new, the bots don't visit often so i wouldn't worry about it.

Bots help, but like Fowler said, if you forum is new, don't panic or worry about. Once your forum grows, they will come back.

Bots only come and stay if there is new content there for them to index. If your forum stays at 0 posts then they have nothing to index. No new pages; no new content; no bots.

Alexa is also a really important one if it comes. A good Alexa rating increases the value of your forum.

In my eyes, I don't think one "BOT" is better than another one as each person in the world may like different search engines such as Bing,Yahoo,Google. So getting them all is probably your best bet.

They are important I get bots like every 2 days my forum is new!
