I'm just looking for the views of others here.
Jenny Johnsson, a 31 year old teacher at Egalia preschool has said "Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing," and that Egalia preschool gives them the opportunity to be who they feel they should be.
The unique thing about this preschool is that the lines of gender are blurred in (what I feel) is a radical role in combating gender issues caused greatly by defined gender roles.
The words 'he' and 'she' are banned, and instead of 'boys' and 'girls' the word 'friends' is used.
How do you feel this could affect the children in later life (be it in a positive or negative way)?
What are your general views/thoughts?
