Nobody ever seems to read my threads in basic promotion.

Niether does anybody sign up to my forums.

I need some tricks.

thanks

Keyword 'forums'.

People get insecure about people who make too many forums then close them and re-open again. Why would someone join your new forum if it's the same as your old one you closed earlier?

Also you've got to add some unique content to your forums, not just open it and say "join now" then make a topic when no one joins your forums, or give up even reading your 1000th basic promotion thread 😉

If this is about your YouTube forum, you are a little late. It is best to start a forum once something big comes out (such as starting a lockerz forum now, though even that may be too late). If you wait around and start the forum years after the concept got popular and there are tons of forums about it up already, your site will most likely die.

I think you need to concentrate on one Forum and advertise it and nurture it and build on it for a good 6 months - really give it your all and if you do that you should succeed.

Maybe add your forum to a Toplist or two?

That seems to help alot of people.

I wouldn't concentrate on more than one, simply for time reasons, and once you have the one you want to stick with, if you run into any slow down, don't close it down, just keep at it. :great:

Looking at your forum, I can see you are starting off way too big. Way too many forums. Start with a few (5 or so) and when people demand, make more.

Change of a skin always helps. Yours right now isn't the worst but isn't that eye-catching. Making a few "fake" members will help, and then occasionally posting using those can help.

Building reputation on forums is vital. People won't join your forum if you are disregarded and show a lack of respect.

Do some post exchanges and some register/register exchanges. They will help you in the short term but at least it looks better than nothing.

Also, a .tk domain name doesn't look good as well.
