Unbelievable! 😀

Noble Cloud only announced that it was opening its BETA program 72 hours ago.
When I opened the BETA program I had a rough idea of how many accounts I was going to allow to participate. I said to myself I'd allow 10 accounts and then close BETA.

The BETA was a chance for people to try out our new, revolutionary cloud web hosting service.
We'd already conducted a series of in-depth tests from our end, and were confident everything was already working 100%. But we, being a very responsible cloud hosting provider, just wanted to make double sure that there were no problems with our service. So that's why we opened BETA.

And in return our BETA participants would get to keep their free hosting for life. 🙂

Anyway, I was expecting it to take AT LEAST a month to sell out, possibly more.
Well, not only did we sell out in 72 hours. But we oversold! We now have 13 BETA participants.

So, no sooner had we announced our BETA program than we close it.
I am surprised, but delighted, at how popular our service has become, in such a short time. 🙂

I hope that now we are charging new customers a very, very small fee of just £1.00 per month to get UNLIMITED disk space and UNLIMITED bandwidth on our highly resilient and very reliable cloud platform, that we will continue to see a good rate of interest.

Our service is only going to get better! 😀

We hope to be introducing some reseller plans shortly, but they won't be cloud resellers.
Our reseller plans will be hosted on a different server that I obtained from OVH.
I got such a good deal from them that a cPanel license would cost more than the server!
Which is why I'm taking a few moments to sit back and think.
The server is extremely good value. But the cPanel license is quite expensive.

We will also be introducing shared hosting plans that aren't cloud based.
These will be available for a smaller monthly fee than our cloud hosting plans.
Our cloud hosting will remain on our cloud platform (obviously) but will be a little more expensive.

A webhosting provider, that has no idea what they're doing. I don't see how you're going anywhere with that. What's even worse is that you're offering that with unlimited disk space, charging only $1.50/account (or whatever the conversion rate is), for 10 people. With that you'd only be able to afford a VPS with 512mb of RAM. I give your company 2 months, max. By then you would have lost almost all of your funds.

I do see your point.
But people just will not pay for a service.
Unless you've been going a year or more.
Getting through that first year is nigh on impossible.

I'm hoping that I will get some customers by charging £1.00/month.
Otherwise I cannot imagine getting any paying customers at all.
The company is less than a week old. Who's going to BUY hosting from them?
The BETA program was different. It was popular because it was FREE.

I know that my service is reliable.
But the other 6 billion people out there do not.
I'm just trying to get people to try my service.
Once they try it they will never regret it.

If you have any other ideas about how I can go about this then I'm listening. 😉

If people buy a Cloud now do they get charged the same rate even if you higher prices?

Yes, we would never change the prices for existing customers. 🙂
