Nonsense Government Spending

Does your government spend on things that are complete nonsense? Elon Musk's discovery of the insane things under USAID got me wondering if it's just the USA that does that?

Our local goverment have wasted pounds on cycle lanes that hardly anybody uses 🤷‍♂️

And as for the UK government however, the unworkable Rwanda scheme...

He's really come along nicely after his stroke, don't you think? He was pathetic when they voted him into office and could barely form a sentence.

I can't think of one that doesn't, but none I can say come to mind other than the US where I live. I guess a better way to measure it is to use case and domestic interest vs foreign spending. To put it simply.
