And now the only program Norton is allowing me to use is FF.

Meanwhile my mom says it's MY fault that Norton is doing this and NOONE ELSE ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH would perfer Avast or AVG.

*furious rage*

I know. But it wouldn't let me take down FF for a sec to do that. Then I activated task manager and everything's ok 🙂

So end the norton process
Go to the processes tab => Find norton.exe or something similar

Personally, I dislike Norton. The constant reminders, the updates, the flashing toolbar really annoys me. I switched to Avast, since it doesn't have those annoying features. Just uninstall it.

It wont let him Justin. 😉

Wow. I never knew Norton Antivirus would delete your entire operating system. I only know that it slows down your computer really bad, like what happened to me when I had Norton Antivirus 2006.

I agree with Dasher, ditch Norton. I use AVG Free Edition.

If you don't download much I wouldnt even use one. I dont

I download untrusted files, countless torrents and so on and only ever had 1 virus, which was due to my dad clicking a pop up which ironically installed an antivirus which was a virus.

Was it's name Norton? XD

Use Kaspersky, great on the system and never really bothers you.

Well on the positive side at least Norton totally recognizes Firefoxe's immortality.

Norton, bleh.... might as well have the virus

Avast
Ad-Aware
Spy-Bot Search and Destroy

AVG will work as well.

Your mom needs to read up about Norton... it's a pain.
