For some reason, my coumputer isn't connecting to the internet except for AOL. It's not the firewall because I already tried all of that. Any tips?

Have you tried changing your DNS server?

Your DNS server could be down.

Google DNS is pretty good. http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

Your DHCP service or server might be down. Try seeing if DHCP is running in the services.msc snap-in for Windows, or if your routor is set to DHCP.

I'm sure it's not the DNS, because everyone I know who runs on the DNS we have has their internet running. It's been like this for a few months, though.

Which internet browser are you using? Are you using Mozilla Firefox/Internet Explorer/Google Chrome?

Tell me which one and I for sure can help you.

I'm trying to use them all. I'm also trying to connect to the internet via control panel.

None of them work? Which internet browser are you using to connect to the Internet and visit sites?

^That was rather spammish.

Also, why can't you help me here instead of beggin me to join your forum?

Read carefully buddy. I clearly said "Our Tech Crew".

I can easily help you here, but I thought maybe our Tech Crew can easily respond since they have faced many of these problems before.

You also might be infected with malware which can stop your internet connection for certain browsers. If you really want to get your computer checked for malware, I recommend you visit GeekAgency.net

It's just going to be too many replies here too..Your choice though. Let me know if you still need help 🙂

Firewall, exceptions, look for ports, programs, try opening two ports (click add port) one on port 80 UDP and one on port 80 TCP.
