Notifications on IPB

How do I set it so that when users sign up to the forum they automatically get notification for every threads they start or reply to, notification on the forum only, not by email because that's very annoying as you get loads of emails then. Do you know if that's possible, if so, how?

The forum software is IPB.

Yeah you have to go to the ACP and search something like "subscription" or "user subscription". It's in there, I know that. Just search around for it.

It will have to do with thread/post subscriptions or user subscriptions.

I have but the options are for email notification, subscribe but don't send notification, and then daily and weekly digest.

There Should be an option for this. If you absolutely cannot find it you should make a thread over at http://community.invisionpower.com/. You Are a customer so they should be glad to help you. 🙂

Just throwing in my few cents, I don't care for forums that automatically subscribers all it's members to their posts and topics.

There's just no reason for it.
