The Nvidia Shield Handheld console looks pretty good. I like that it runs the regular version of Android with Full Google Play support, so you can play Android games, and apps, and also stream Steam games to the hand held.

But you need an GTX 650 to stream steam games.

Yeah, I've been posting this, too. It's pretty nice looking. The question is the price.

The less intensive games like Quake, Doom, Indie games, and older titles on Steam would probably not need a very fast video card, CPU, and RAM to stream.

I think this new hand held console from Nvidia is awesome.
I love how the screen just folds into the space covering the keys and joysticks.
lets just hope it is made of some tough material.
I think the price will determine the overall success of it.

You have to have a 650 to stream pc games.
660m for notebooks.
Re: Nvidia new Shield Android based Tegra 4 hand held consol
I would buy it, I need a handheld console and am not fussed on the current ones.
Re: Nvidia new Shield Android based Tegra 4 hand held consol
I would buy also want to buy it.
I like that it can stream games, play android games, and can run Google Androids apps as well.
If there was an optional mini keyboard, it would be a great mini tablet as well.
I wonder if it would have a webcam on the screen's bezel for video and voice chatting.
