first off he told Joe the Plumber that by giving his tax money to poor people he's trying to make sure everyone has a chance. so there is the first time he brought it up. he tries to say its not punishing joe (which it is because he's worked too hard for some uneducated lazy person to have his money) and that its fair. how is it fair for someone to get the money i worked for?

Canadas healthcare system sucks.
If you actually read my post, you'd realize that no one in the US is advocating for socialized medicine like that in Canada, simply a public insurance and healthcare plan that will just compete with private insurance.
I have no problem with giving tax money to poor people. I feel glad that I'm helping the poor with my tax dollars. Joe the plumber is a self observed homophobic jackass who shouldn't be taken seriously.

And I can see your point and I agree with you - some people take others charity and tax dollars as a given and abuse it. Most will take it as a god given gift and use it to take care of themselves in a better way.
I'd rather be seeing my money go to help, even if, out of every 5 homeless people my tax dollars go to, 2 of them actually get a job and start working hard, I'd be happy, even if the other three just continue to ' sit on their ass '.

Howard, honestly. Can you act mature? Most people don't cuss at each other in formal debates, whether or not it is edited. Maybe you would make a better point if you expanded your vocabulary.

and SpideRX, there have been a lot of changes. he's on pace to triple the national debt. so he's tripling bush's double (btw i really didnt like bush) but at least he's spending less. also obama is pushing for the largest tax increase in american history (the cap and trade act). if this is passed it will hurt the poor people the most that cant afford to make green changes like hybrid cars and solar panels. basically this is a tax that makes you pay for you carbon emissions. so rich people can buy solar panels and electric cars but people in the projects cant and have to pay more. thats not very practicable. and its the LARGEST tax increase in history and its being voted on this week.
