If i had the power to slap all the democrats, I would.
Why? Give me 3 good reasons.

I'll give Obama 90% so far, and thats coming from a major lefty here. I don't like how he didn't fully extend benefits to gay federal employees and I'm also not too pleased with the continued military tribunals, and I'm really not pleased how he doesn't support gay marriage, but the majority of what he has done has made me very pleased.

True, but just because you are pleased with Obama so far doesn't mean other people are, everyones opinions are different on the situation so I really don't think you'd need 3 reasons for anything based on somone elses opinion.Obama does have his faults,as do most presidents.

I'm not saying I'm for Obama,but I'm not against him either.Personally I don't think we've had a good president for a long time. =/

You didn't just express yourself, you attacked people for no real reason except that they disagree.

That's based on the premise that I attacked someone: You.

Maybe it wasn't an attack. Maybe you're just bawwing over me not agreeing with you. I just served what you did.

I am not talking about just myself. You have done it to several people, in several topics.

But... we're talking about this topic.

Only you are making claims of attacks in this thread.

Keep it civilised guys.

I think he's doing good considering the circumstances 🙂

Howard, Please tone it down and be a bit more respectful of your opponents.

He's not my opponent. I don't ever wish to appose someone.

And I believe my last post was very civilized. It contained no ad hominem attacks or cursing.

I intend to speak in a civilized manner. But when reason is called into question, sometimes I lose my cool. That's natural. At least I can admit it. And at least I don't bottle it up.

Ever since political correctness came in, there's been a rise in domestic violence, sex crimes, and hate crimes. This is observable. I have a right to curse from time to time, lest I go crazy and beat my wife or something. Which is less civilized?

Let's see some statistics.

Statistics are always wrong. We're talking about almost 6 billion people, and a subculture per every 100 of them. If I showed statistics to prove my argument, they'd be very fallible.
I know, I used to run a polling website. The polls before elections were wrong 9 times out of 10. This is also observable in all polls, taken in all matters of opinion.
This is also why I think voting is a cancer to democracy.

How about you go out and talk to your fellow human beings? Study their lives. You'll find a lot is changing, a lot is heating up.

Statistics prove theories. Calling statistics wrong is calling reality wrong.
Ex) You are going to die, given the stats. But you say that is wrong, so you will live forever I guess.

Yes, but a theory is not necessarily reality. A theory is just one way that reality could be interpreted. Theories are not always correct (that's why they are theories and not laws).

While some statistics are true, others are misleading. He's saying that statistics are usually only used to mislead people, which is quite true in politics.

Actually, a theory is plenty viable as are statistics totally viable.

Howard just is not posting them because he can't back up his claims 😉

A theory is, by definition, a proposed explanation (which means it is not proven).
