So what are your thoughts on the whole situation? Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

I think we needed a change, anyone is better than that idiot Bush we had before. Im sure obamba will do great as president and make some positive changes.

Terrible. I hope he does well, but I doubt it.

I was really hoping for John McCain to win.

McCain would have screwed this country up even more just like Bush has. We have been facing a recession, lots of people are out of a job and cannot feed their families. Bush was busy out butting his nose ino the rest of the worlds business spending our tax dollars on that crap instead of putting it back into our economy. Im trying to be optimistic, and I say that Obama might put this country back in the right direction again, just like when Clinton was president.

I hope he does a, good job.
Lots of Obama haters on my MSN :?
As you said, anyone is better than bush.

I seriously think Bush was a immature two year old wanting to seek attention by Americans.

Am so glad he isn't the president anymore

I think our whole country is going to hell now. I can't wait to see how much the taxes get raised, and I'm expecting oil to go back up to $150 a barrel.

Palin '12!

Lol thats your only argument? Gas prices? -lol-
Im sure money we will be saving a ton of money by not spending billions and billions of dollars sending out troops out all over the world to stick our noses in where they dont belong. Instead we can use that money to re-stimulate the economy, help people who lost their jobs to find work, make everything affordable again, ect, ect.

You do realize Sarah Palin as John McCain's VP pick had a very negative effect on his campaign. She could barely do a 10 minute interview without saying something seriously controversial or just plain stupid.

Thankfully most Americans have realized we need something different and we need to make some serious changes fast in order to get our country back on track to how it used to be.

It's also a great milestone for our country, the first African American to be president. Sure, it doesn't mean their is no racism in our country as their is still racism and probably always will be but it does mean we've come a long way.

He goes into the whitehouse on my birthday -D- , well, becomes president anyway -🙂-

Yup, a fact you all wanted to know, and now you do! -lol-

I am sort of glad he won, as we seem to follow the lead of America in wars like with Iraq and Afghanistan it would be good to see it end as Obama wants to end it.

Maybe you'll get a medical system like ours.

I am glad Obama won. He deserves it. Also he will be better for our foreign relations.

Lmao.. -lol- And the world is going to end in 2012 too? -razz-

I think their will be attempts on his life at the beginning but once they fail it should die down, as long as he doesn't do what Kennedy did he should be alright.

Actually, yes I am a believer in that as well. I have never cared that people think im wrong about what I think, as I am rarely wrong. The few times I am I admit it, and the times im not I dont gloat.

There's many reasons why Obama' can get assassinated, just like any other president. -😉-

So assuming an American who lives in America kills Obama, are you suggesting there will be a Civil war? And who will be fighting, the whole of America vs the killer? ~wink~

A John F Kenedy was killed in office and he wasnt black. All presidents risk this when they get elected. Im sure with it being 2008, he will have all sorts of highly advanced security.
