I saw a video of the Pepper Spraying on YouTube, and it seems the police went overboard with pepper spraying the students, and I don't get why the police need to be armed with so many Paint Ball looking guns when they have batons, handcuffs, and the crowd is relatively peaceful, and proudly practicing their free speech rights.

They were paintball guns. Luckily, both officers have been put on administrative leave for the incident. UC Davis students are calling for the resignation of the chancellor, and the campus police chief. Unfortunately cases like these rarely end up in criminal charges for the police officer, but he could at least lose his job over it. I would post something specific about how the officer needed to pepper spray the kids because of the miniscule size of one of his body parts, but that would be inappropriate for a forum 13 year olds go on. Notice the pride he possesses while he flashes the canister around right before he starts spraying, and how casual he is while walking around. Those students are so brave...froggyboy604 said:
