Sad to see Berba go 🙁

Yeah, he was a big hit a few years ago but he has lost playing time since then, I am interested in seeing him pair up with Petric though. 😀

So i'm not very informed on this, is chelsea winning?! 😱

They are so far. Chelsea are top of the table after 3 games, some teams have only played 2 games though. 😉

Not a great performance from my team but we got the result which is the main thing.

I forgot to watch MOTD the other day and didn't really see many highlights. Who scored?

It looks like your team did well in the Capital One Cup today with a 6-0 win. :O

I'm also pleased to announce a 4-2 victory for Aston Villa, against Manchester City. 😀

Chelsea are leading the Premier League after 8 games with Manchester United 4 points behind them. They are playing some great football and it's been a pleasure to watch Hazard and Mata, two geniuses on the football pitch. Oscar has been great too but you don't hear his name as much. 😛

The trio of Hazard, Mata and Oscar is phenomenal this season and really something we lacked last year. Things are looking really good for us at the moment and if we can beat United on Sunday we'll give ourselves a huge chance 🙂

They have been very good this season but I didn't see much from them in their last game against Manchester United. It didn't help when a couple of their team mates left the pitch with a red card to their name therefore Di Matteo had to shuffle his team and formation around which eventually left to that trio being subbed off I think.

I think this season premier league will be one of the closest for years, when i say that i dont specifically mean the winners, but the whole league as a general, i really havent seen a bad team as yet, obvs some are not up to matching the big guns. I suppose im saying i cant see anyone being dead n buried by xmas

That could well be true but I'm not seeing much from Southampton in their defensive play, they are lacking in that respective in my opinion. Although, I do like the attacking options they have in Lallana and Lambert, they just need to work on their defense now if they want to stay up but right now I see them being relegated with the likes of Reading and QPR.

I agree and the same could be said for MUC they local explosive and difficult to defend against yet defensively they look vulnerable and sloppy in fact if my memory serves me correct i think they have gone behind in 8 of their games, relying on the fact they can outscore opposition, if they got themselves sorted defensively they would be a frightening prospect

I am aware of many team abbreviations but I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to when you say MUC? I can't really give my say on this without this explanation, haha. 😛

Hahaha MUFC my friend, i do humbly apologise for my sloppy reply 🙂

Oh right, their defence isn't too bad but I can sort of see where you are coming from. Rafael could turn into a very good RB but he does make a few errors at times. Evra I'm not so sure about but I bet Buttner will give him a run for his money for that LB spot.

There is one team that I think need to improve their defence and they need to improve it alot if they want to challenge for anything this year and that team is Arsenal. They won 7-5 away to Reading in the Capital One Cup which speaks volume in my opinion.

You know, I really hope next season I'm actively posting in this thread telling you about Middlesbrough's games in the premier league. Anyway who is top of the table at the moment?

Chelsea are top of the Premier League after 9 games, one point above 2nd placed Manchester United. Manchester United beat Chelsea in the league this week then Chelsea came back and beat them in the Capital One Cup. Two thrilling games in my opinion.

I remember Middlesbrough in the Premier League, they beat Manchester City 8-1 on the last day of the season and I think even Afonso Alves scored that day but I'm not entirely sure.
