Official FP NCAA March Madness Bracket Competition​

Hello sports fans! It is time for the annual NCAA March Madness tournament! And with a tournament, there are always bracket competitions. This year, I've taken it upon myself to have one of these competitions here at FP! For those of you who are not American, you probably have no idea about March Madness. However, you too can participate! Just do some research, or randomly guess! It makes no difference, as we are here to have fun!

Rules:​
  • This is a bracket pool. This means points will be either need to donated/deducted prior to the tournament.
  • 1st Place wins 60% of the pool. 2nd place wins 25% of the pool. 3rd place wins 15% of the pool.
  • The cost is 100 FP per bracket.
  • Each user is limited to 2 brackets.
  • This bracket is open to any member/staff member from any country who has the required FP.
  • ALL bracket entries must be submitted via PM (to ensure no cheating, etc). I will be reserving the 2nd post slot for the brackets, which I will put after the deadline.
  • The deadline for entries is March 16th, 2011 at 5:30 (GMT -6). ALL bracket entries MUST be submitted prior to the deadline.
  • Due to the lack of time, the UAB vs. Clemson and the UNC Ash. vs. UALR game on March 15th will not count in the bracket. This is so we can get some entries. Please note though you must still make a prediction in these games for the second round guessing.
  • Scoring will be awarded like this: First Round = 1 Point, Second Round = 2 Points, Third Round = 4 Points, Regional Semifinals [aka Sweet 16] = 8 Points, Regional Finals (aka Elite 8] = 16 Points, National Semifinals (Final Four) = 32 Points, and National Championship = 50 Points.

By the way guys, I'v decided that ontop of the 500 FP pool, I'm going to go ahead and donate another 500 FP into the pool, because I feel good about my brackets!

I missed the Kentucky and Princeton game.
Which, I dislike Kentucky, so you can't be surprised that I picked them to lose against Princeton.
Of course, Brandon Knight of Kentucky had to make a layup to take the led with only a couple seconds left of the game.
 
Kentucky I hate, because of their coach.

My big disappointment right now is Penn State. I felt very confident they'd upset temple. They lost to a buzzer beater.
 
My team is out. They missed a buzzer beater that would have sent the game into overtime. I am a Commodores fan. At least I still have Tennessee to root for.

I didn't even have time to decorate mine with Vanderbilt stuff. 😛
 
I'm not a big fan of John Calipari either. And Morehead State totally screwed me over. Stupid schools that nobody's ever heard of. I also missed all of my brackets by picking Old Dominion to beat Butler. So lame.

But hey, Michigan State came back to get a bad travel call at the end. Still probably would not of made it.

Still here. My team played great at an awesome comeback. I'm proud of the boys for persevering the season through.

And sorry guys. Next year I'll probably run this again.
 
Wow, I am shocked that Pittsburgh and Syracuse are both out now. Wow.
 
SYracuse I'm fine with. Pitts I saw coming, as one of my brackets reflected it.

Sometime when I get the chance will let you all know who is in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
