I've been trying for about the past 2 months trying to get my tld domain (http://kayarkgfx.com) a PR1 and I can't do it! I followed a lot of things that people said, and it's not working. Any tips?

(I've got backlinks everywhere.. so no need for asking.)

Um, sign up for the webmaster tools from google (google it) and than verify your domain. It will count the number of indexed pages, the backlinks, etc. Great information if you ask me.

Also note, if your website did not rank PR1 by the last PR update, which was in April, you have to wait until their next PR update - which is usually 3-4 months. Not much you can do about that..

You're on IPB 1.3 - you can only hope for the best.

Besides, nothing helps PageRank more than actual activity and content.

Like what James said, you'll have to wait and see. There's no point checking now as Google won't update it, but about 2-3 months later, when the PR updates, check and see.

For now, redirect your free domain (or whatever that PR3 domain was) to your domain now, and then build backlinks.

Add in cool and unique content. Do link exchanges with better forums. Hope this helps 🙂
