Okay...guys..need some urgent help here...

Last night, when I was asleep, like 2AM in the morning. A moderator of mine kept kicking everyone out of chat & resetting the chat. But there's no prove. He's a decent guy, don't think he would do anything like this, but many have said he did do it. So what should I do? Remove him of his moderating postion?

I would give him a warning telling him to stop resetting the chat
If he carrys on then demote him

Demote him, if more then 5 people say he did it then he did it. Simple as that.

Someone who is a moderator and lies to you about his action should not deserve to be mod in the first place.

Have you actually mentioned this to him? maybe he had a reason, maybe he didn't kick anyone out but the chat just reset it self due to a technical fault.

This is the primary reason why I don't keep a chat: No hard record of infractions. You only have he-said she-said. But it is what it is, and you've got to draw your conclusions from those who were there in the event. The people accusing him--what details do they have? Sometimes technology has its glitches and I'm not sure how chats work, but if he was the one running it at the time maybe it gave a series of reboots due to a patchy connexion?

If there is no way this could have happened, all you have to go on are the accusers and the accused. If several trustworthy people are making these accusations it's honestly a bad sign for your mod, even if he is your best buddy. Trust me, friends can turn on a dime and you can never really know them.

If I got 5 people to say that you were the one kicking people off a chat unfairly, even though you didn't, by your logic, I should demote you. Without any real proof, you can't accept their accusations on face value. Nonetheless, you should still question the moderator as to why someone would say something if the moderator didn't do such a thing.
