Old guy doesn't know how to change OS

Re: retard...

There are 9 year olds that know more than you too, a lot of kids know more about computers than most adults.

But yeah the guy is stupid, how the hell has he never upgraded an operating system before?

edit: oh and lol and the "high end" computer equipment. First the guy says he only uses his computer for word, photoshop, and the internet, and now he's saying he spends 4k on computers. I've got the same laptop as him, it was around $600-$800 last year... not exactly high end, and I'm sure he got ripped off if he paid 3.4k for a PC... I can get a PC for 1k that'll be really good 😛

I have changed the topic title to something less offending. Please try and refrain from using offending topic titles.

Thanks.

Re: retard...

He should of did more research. I'm not sure, but Windows Upgrade advisor might help out before he upgraded.

Because some retard doesn't know how to backup his files?

Ummmm iam sorry would you like Microsoft to give you a 200 page book on how to resolve any and every issue?? While they are at it why don't they just throw in a free Microsoft tech with every purchase of windows 7, iam sure that will satisfy your completely computer illiterate brain.

Also its kinda good to do a fresh install of windows every so often, the way windows is its kinda necessary after awhile. If you just kept upgrading after awhile you would either run into problems or you would have a fairly slow OS.

Well there is my 2 cents sorry if i sound kinda like a ass iam really not i promise lol O🙂

No because older people or less computer savvy people fuck up to much ...

Well to be fair, it's hard for people who are still trying to learn to keep up with technology that is constantly changing. You have to have a youthful mind (not in terms on age specifically) to keep up to speed.

I don't think there's anything wrong with some people adapting to change. Hell, there is things that people did or made in the past BY HAND that I'm sure a lot of us would find difficult or would bitch and complain about.

Oh they could be upfront and honest about their product limitations from the start?

I completely agree with this guy, I would have wasted my money as well. I'm not new to computers, i'm in a college level computer class at my high school, i've won national contests for knowing the Windows Operating System.

If you'd wait through the video, he's not saying he doesn't know how to backup and such, he's just PO'd that Microsoft printed a misleading statement on their product that caused him to waste his hard earned money. I'm 100% for him, and if it were me i'd have already filed with the BBB.
