Old pokemon forum - pcf

So, Anyone heard of PokeChamps? It's 12 months old and close to being an year old in January. I just want some ideas or feedback on it.

The 1st pokechamps was started in early Oct on forumer , and gained 27 inactive members.
I didnt know how to run a forum at all, just was fun. Then I discovered IPB, it looked cool so I wanted to use. So, I joined rapidboards, they were worth bull-sh*t.
So, then came clicdev this when the forum strived and I became more knowledgeable of being a forum admin. It was decent, wasn't too active but it was alright. Then one day horrible day someone by the name of Flame joined and posted in the cbox, how great of the forum it was and we were make into something big. I was HAPPY, so he asked to be admin and I made him one.

Then it went downhill, he started changing the forum name to POKEFAIL then prune deleted every member. Banned me, and started posting smiley faces on the cbox. I contunie to ask why, but all he said was poketown you're next.

All I can say, now the new pokechamps is a great sucess.
Please give any suggestions on the newer board.
remember, it's 12 months old.

Nah, I started on Jan 4, 2009. See it's past december 4th, that makes it 12 months old.

I see a lot of potential in it, it's coming along well.

...as long as you now know why it's a bad idea to give a total stranger you just met in the Cbox admin status...

Your site is tasteful looking and the discussions seem civil, skin looks great...got no real complaints. I'd like a bit more roleplaying but that's just me 😀 I noticed that there's a thread to get your name changed...is there any way to just allow the members to do it themselves? Might make it easier and take a load off your and your staff's shoulders.

Maths denotes that it is 11 months old, just so you know.

But yes, I quite like the forum. I've posted there a fair few times. For its age, it is pretty large. I would just like to see more people online when I am and maybe more of a presence from the staff (besides you, of course). :S I mean, I'm only semi-active (probably less) and I'm your 5th highest poster, out-posting all your staff members except you.

Also, a lot of the activity comes from the off topic sections, so you may want to try to get people to be more active in the Pokemon sections.
