Do you enjoy going back and playing old DOS and Windows games from time to time? If so, which program do you use to play the old games or do you prefer just to play them from your browser? Many older games can be played within your browser, but not all games can. I just set up this program called PCEmu last night and installed Windows 98 on it. Some people still have old PCs lying around just for playing old Windows and DOS games on real hardware! I don't have the room or money to get real hardware to play older games on, plus it can be a headache setting things up on real hardware. Not to mention finding parts in working order is difficult these days too.
I haven't been enticed to go back to the old style games at all. They were fun back in the day, but now, there are too many exciting games with better graphics and sometimes better strategy.
Many excellent games back during the DOS and old windows era indeed. Wing Commander 3, Prince Of Persia games, TMNT games, Ghost Buster, Duck tales, Batman, Lemmings and many others ! Good thing there's Dosbox.
I remember the old days and what I was like while playing those games as a younger self, but now I dream and think back rather than try to get the game to work.
Honestly, I just search for apps in the google store that mimics them. I like a good Solitaire app and the mine finder.
Older than that I don't really recall much. I do like playing flash games, they were fun. Before flap bird was a thing I was clumsily clicking to keep the helicopter from crashing in the stalagmites and hills of the cave it was exploring. Haha.
