Oldest Living People

Let me share my experience with my husband's great uncle who turned 104 last June 13. He is still independent, moving by himself and doing everything by himself. He is just like 70 in the way he moves. And the punchline? He is a heavy smoker. Since he eats anything, I guess the myth about secret to long life is shattered by our Grandpa Tonio.

Honestly, as much as I like to think that living a longer life is depended on good eating habits, and whether or not someone is a heavy smoker, how well you try to stay fit is just as important as eating right or living a certain way. If you aren't physically fit, it doesn't matter if you eat healthy, you won't live as long or as well as those who maintain a physical life that allows their bodies to stand living longer, due to good physical health.

Everything is based on averages. I mean, I also have a smoker uncle who is in his 70s.
