OMG! I Got a PR2!

YESSSSS!!!! Sorry, but this is something i have a celebration for. I have spent the last few weeks, studying ways to build a page rank, what can i do, and lost all hope. Paying cash for backlinks to PR sites; I submitted my forum to dozens of directories, added it to Top Forum sites, and still checked every day .... and nothing.

I check my PR at least 5 times a day, and never got anything past a PR0 since earlier this afternoon.

But, i just checked it, and didn't get a PR1, but i now have a PageRank of 2

None of you may care, but i have worked and worked to get this status.

Congratulations keep working hard otherwise that PR may go down -lol- but PR2 is great , keep the good work it only updates every few months so chill out and take care of your board.
 
Congratulations of achieving PR2 I'm sure you deserved it with all the effort you are putting in.

subdomains can get PR too -D-
 
Congratulations with your domains! One of mine recently got PR 1 itself yesterday when a PR update was made -happy-
 
Can someone explain to me what this all means please? I have no idea what you are all on about! -razz-
 
Thanx alot everyone. You guys really should have seen my face. I check it everyday, and just clicked the enter button , and seen the "2" pop up, i had to recheck it about 4 times.

All i wanted was a 1. But somehow got a 2 🙂

Of Course. But, it just takes MASSIVE amounts of advertising, setting up backlinks, and mainly trying to get your site listed on other higher pageranked forums.

I keep that pagerank site checker on my Opera Broswer's speed dial 😀 ( and check all forums i visit, i've known about your PR1 for several weeks. you must've done good on the updates that was done yesterday on PR's 😉 )

Mine could've possibly been higher, but like Whatamura said in the other topic ... i just got my new url back in february, and i need to backtracked all places i used my old link,on, and change it to the current url.

I'm currently on youtube, editing over 100 videos i uploaded, that had the old url.

some forums here have a PR3, and PR4 ... but, not many forums get past 4, from what i have seen.

You should be VERY PROUD of your PR2, not many even geta PR1.
 
Hmm.. I did alot of backlinking as well.. and I got a pagerank of 2 as well.. it jumped up like yours did.. Weird..
 
Possibly a bit late, although checked my site today and noticed it's shot up to Page Rank 4 ~cheesey_grin~

Not bad consider its Alexa rank is awful and it's only stream of traffic is coming from a tutorial posted on tutorialized and links in the footer of my 3 phpBB styles.
 
I dropped back down to a PR1 , i don't go to forums like i use to, lately,. been too busy on my forum, and here. Which, I'm actually more happy with the recent boom in activity 🙂

I'll get it back up, when i have time.
