If there was one thing you would change about forums in general what would it be

I would change the difficulty that it takes to make a forum software.

I would have a age limit of 16 years old as the minimum allowed and prove must be shown to enter

Why 16? There probably is as many immature 16 year olds as there are mature 13 year old. COPPA cuts it at 13 because of "child abuse" issues and what not, so at least that's valid.

I would change the Login form. I mean, what's with the "I don't want to register" button/cancel button when you decided to register? 😀

The age. 15 and up would be good. Little kids get annoying sometimes.

Age has absolutely nothing to do with maturity so not sure why anyone would make that connection.

I honestly don't know what one thing could be changed that I would want to change tbh.

Yea. Agreed as I am 13.

I would love to see all forum software adopt alternative logins, such as Facebook Connect (only vBulletin 4.0.4+ and IPB 3.0+ have it), Twitter Connect, OpenID, Windows Live Login, etc. On my new forum, it feels so good just making just two (one if I'm on Facebook) clicks to login.

I'm praying for this in phpbb4. At least Facebook Connect would do wonders for any forum.

Its got nothing to do with people under 16 not being mature its about protecting children on-line.

I'd give phpBB a better frickin' quick reply...

Most other forum software have had a respectable quick reply for years.

It has. I'm surprised the free guys have been slow at it. Other than that, there isn't much unique stuff in IPB/vBulletin.

I'd make a requirement for everyone currently registered on any forum on the internet to paypal me $5. 😛
