Online dating?

What are your thoughts on online dating? Have you tried it before?
My cousin met his wife online. I know it works for some people but for most it does not work.

Not sure what to think. I know some people have found great spouses, but I am not convinced that it is the route to go.

I use tinder here and there, not always explicitly for dating. Super useful when you travel to meet locals and get to see a place better!

Nothing beats “buying gf/bf 10k” on RuneScape. I’m happily married though to sweetheart of almost 10 years so those middle school days are well behind me.

If it works for you though, more power to you. It’s probably a lot easier to make initial contact this way especially for more introverted people. I’ve made true friends over the internet. If I were todo online dating, I would use it as a gateway to in person. Solely online dating doesn’t sound fulfilling to me. But, like I said, whatever works for others is great. I can’t judge anyone else’s experiences.

I met my husband 22 years ago from a dating site, not online back then lol I worked 2nd shift so had a hard time meeting people. If other avenues have failed- volunteering, taking classes, etc, then I say go for it.

I haven't used such websites, but my own opinion that it is a waste of time. But, on the other hand, some FP users found wives there, just like Jason76 did
