Which site would you recommend buying from for Eye Glasses? I see a few that have some nice styles and I got my prescription yesterday from my eye doctor (I ordered a pair through their office too). I'd like to know how the online sites fare compared to brick and mortar shops?

I have bought glasses online before and they were a lot cheaper but I found the frames were flimsy and broke quite quickly. I can't remember the name of the company but I think it was a UK site.

I was going to recreate this thread since I'm interested in buying a cheaper pair of glasses because we have money to spend in our limited FSA account. Does anyone have an experiences they want to relate?

I don't know. I've always gone into see my local optometrist. I can't imagine how I would go about getting a prescription online without them giving me an eye examination.

Last year when I went for my exam I requested the prescription so I have that already. The only thing most don't give is the pupillary distance and I found some apps that can do that with my phone's camera.

I'd also love to know a reputable web site to purchase some spectacles. I think that I'm ready for a thicker pair. In the past, I've generally gone to Walmart Vision Center, but I have been trying not to venture outside the home due to the coronavirus panorama.

The online thing is nice, but if you need another pair of glasses I don't think its the best option, but if you got time to try pairs, have them adjusted and what not I think any site offering glasses would work.
