Online Marketing Forum under Soft Launch: Ideas for Features and Perks

I am trying to create an online marketing community for my medical SEO clients (and other types of businesses as well), similar to Warrior Forums for instance. Main focus: Search Engine Optimization, Local SEO, copywriting.

Of course, as a website is not only about this, we'll have a lot of topics on Wordpress, branding, forum management, programming and AI.

I have already a truckload of questions from my clients, tidbits of information, personal recommendations etc. (hence the need to use a forum format).

Always loved how Forum Promotion has worked, and, in the past I used similar ideas on Wtricks.com and Topadmin.net (not linking them, as they are no longer under my management: forum cash, contests etc.

I will need a constant influx of content (so, any high-quality forum posters here, who can tackle online marketing and SEO are welcome to PM me their offers), but would also want to set up a cash system that allows my members to redeem perks and even cash in the near future.

1. What CASH SYSTEM do you guys recommend?
2. What conversion rate should I use? Say $1 is a 10 TMcoins? What is a decent rate?
3. What payment thresholds do you recommend (pay when a member has enough forum cash to get $10)?
4. What other perks do you personally love in other communities and would like to see in my forum?

I have an OK monthly budget, so there are options we can cover.

DragonByte credits and shop add on.

Usually $1 equals 100 credits, $10 would be 1000 credits.
3 credits per topic, 1 for a post. The longer the content, the more extra. (.01 per word)
3. What payment thresholds do you recommend (pay when a posts gets to $10)?
$10 is sufficient. Do 10-20-40-50. Can even do a little extra at 60 for 5000 credits per example.

I am not really expecting this to fly solo, it will be a part of my main medical SEO website and help me share insights that really don't look OK in huge blog posts. Should bring in some diversified traffic as well. TopAdmin was great, but I lacked the funds to keep it going back then and motherhood really didn't help, as it did take away a lot of time 😀

yep. Funds are important, people often overlook that but in reality you need to be prepared to invest and if you can’t sustain that for a long time, it’s not worth the effort.

Alrighty, addon installed. 5 TM$ for a thread and same for a post, 0.01 per character. Excluded offtopic section and news/rules, I really don't want a flurry of "what's your favorite color" type of posts 😀

Now because I'm too old to learn new tricks, do I need the DragonByte SHOP plugin as well (this one is the CREDITS DragonByte) plugin? How will users redeem cash in my forums (need to solve this, for the ones who are going to be very active)

And last question: how does Dojo have an ads management area like Forum Promotion? Cause I love it 😀

You need Ads Manager by Siropu. Don’t take the lite version.

As for the redeeming, I’d need to check to verify (can do this in a couple of hours) but I’m pretty sure you need the Shop. But can be wrong. 😆
