Your logo isn't too bad. That's actually the old font of one of Forum Promotion's old banners believe it or not! Your main text is very clear and I can see you have the drop shadow on it. Why didn't you do a drop shadow on the subscript text? I would recommend editing that to make it look more "crisp."
Your forum is very "bare," for a lack of terms. You really need to start building up a content base throughout the site. You are severely lacking posts. Just browse through here and other sites within the same niche and start creating threads. You don't want sections to say zero topics and posts. It makes you look bad.
Theme looks great although maybe you could customize it a bit to make it look different as a few forums use that same exact theme. Maybe try and center the logo too as the right side of the header looks a bit empty. Because you're a new forum maybe reduce the number of forums you have until it grows especially as most of them are empty. As an admin you should atleast post a few in every section to try and encourage more activity
The logo itself isn't too bad but could be better.
However the theme screams the words plain jane. Perhaps switch to something more colorful to liven up the place. Just the dark gray color is a little dull on the eyes.
I would also like to say that maybe it wouldn't hurt for starters to go and make at least 10-15 new topics in each forum section when you have time to do so. Content is very important as it normally is that it either...persuades people to join or encourages others to post. Just focus on working and filling out your forums with new posts and topics, work on a better theme, maybe get an improved looking banner.
I think you have a long road ahead of you. But don't despair. All forums go through mountains before they succeed and therefore I bid you good luck in your endeavors. 🙂
