Well, this was a theme of the Biblical Book of Job. Job was accused by Satan - of only believing because of the blessings he got. However, nowadays, the prosperity gospel is saying something similar - with the preaching of Joel Osteen etc. Well, it seems that way for many people. How bad is this problem?

Well, naturally people want stuff, but do they really know what they want? For instance, a cancer victim - just wants to live, not an expensive home.
