what do you expect for a forum that's starting out? should I get my neighbors to post? hand out flyers at a grocery store? who? I don't do things like make up users and post back and forth between myself like some people do. wtf?

Content & Replies to existing topics, and yes that's the way to get forums started, by telling friends and family about it... do you really think MR Google is going to do all that work for you ?.

you might call it an indulgence. I call it putting up some topics. things to read. things I like reading. things other people might like reading, and later on I would put up some more- I did that numerous times on other forums and it got a much better reception than you give it. what else am I going to put up? "hello is anybody out there"?

To be honest I got bored stiff reading all that stuff you had plagiarised off other sites, (yes I did do research)

you saw the kind of posts I posted on your forum. the kind of posts that take 20 minutes to write, and were obviously worth reading, because they got fairly thought-out responses. compare that to other lame-o's who post things like "what are you doing?" or "what are you thinking?" was I indulging myself then? I didn't just put up 20+ lame posts to make some kind of lame deal, I was trying to help get your forum going because I liked it. I would have still been posting if it wasn't for that idiotic muppet that soured things for me. you may notice that I had given you a rep here and I said in the comments it was because you had a great forum and I thought you were a great guy.

Hah Scipio a muppet, I shall tell him that, he will be pleased, and if you get blown away by one remark, then may I suggest that running a forum is not for you, you will come across far worse than Scipio.

well damn I was wrong. first you forget all about returning the favor, then when reminded you take a second look at it and discover how awful my forum is- and ban me from your own forum after I pm'd asking for some posts. I wouldn't have done this to you. I'm not like that. thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and good luck.

I told you, I had been laid up with a bad back, you know I really considered it more important to make sure I was fit to go to work, than post on your empty forum.
The reason you were banned was because you decided to hide your online status when you came on the forum, if you had bothered to read our rules, that is a reason for an immediate ban, we do not like people sneaking around, thinking that they can't be see by anyone, we assume they are up to no good, and as you threw your teddy out of the pram when you left, we thought you might might be up to no good, seeing as you are an admin and know how forums work.
I find the retaliatory ban very amusing, because now I can't post to help you out even if I wanted to.

1. yes, Mr. Google would do all that work for me. and signing up to a forum promotion board. and having agreements with other people to post on each other's forums. before I deleted the Snitz forum, the reviews I wrote on the AN-94 assault rifle and the romanian AK-47 (which I own) each had more than 5000 hits; they had been there for about a year. that's an average of 14 hits a day, every single day for a year. the review of the Ruger LCP (which I own) had about 3500 hits, that's about 10 per day. I had already posted all 3 of them on a different forum before I decided to leave that forum and brought them to mine. there they already had well over 1500 reads each, in 3 months. several of the other pieces I wrote had hundreds of views each. they were getting read.

2. the AN-94 review I wrote is the most comprehensive and inclusive review of it anywhere on the internet, anybody will tell you that because it's far and away obviously true. when the LCP review was on the other forum, one person told me it was the best gun review he had ever read, of any gun. in fact with that review he decided to buy one. (he did, and showed pictures of it later) now the other things I wrote, "The Wisdom Of Carlos Castaneda", "One In A Million", "If Aliens Came To Earth", "Beyond The Speed Of Light", "Where Did The Universe Come From", "The Why Speech", "Iron Age Ireland", "The Roughest Sport On Earth", "The Gods We Killed", "First Christians Thought Jesus Was Not God", the response to criticism of Freud's Moses and Monotheism, and the script for Mad Max IV that I wrote, why don't you tell me where you saw any of that on google? the peice on "Sex Rites: The Origins Of Christianity" was given to me by the author of that book when in correspondence with her; it came from the author herself! do you talk to any authors? do any of them give you things to put on your forum?

what has been plagiarized from other websites? some things I did get from google, yes; Plato, Socrates, Nietsche, Frued, what's wrong with that? I had already read the books myself and didn't feel like typing 100's or 1000's of words at a time, and I will have you know that just as many are not found on the internet, I did type them by hand from the books themselves! so people can read it! or my translation of Paradise Lost into modern language? where's that on the internet? you couldn't even read the original in the first place! but you accuse me of lazily (and stupidly) copy-and-pasting from some website. do you remember the topic on your forum about what books we read? do you remember the pictures I posted?

yeah I plagiarized them from other websites. what a joke.

3. yes scipio is a muppet. no I won't have problems with people like that on my forum. people like that wouldn't be on my forum, that simple. you yourselves were saying how you would rather have intelligent content and do without the muppets. I really don't see how you're going to accomplish that.

4. you didn't delete all my posts on your forum, it says on your, ahem, new forum that your database got screwed up and you had to start over. indeed everything is gone from before including the old forum itself.

5. yeah right you banned me from your new forum because I selected "hide my online status". yep. mm hmm. very common.

6. you weren't banned from my forum, you were deleted. with your actions and what you said it was a good assumption our business was finished. you still had made no posts anyway.

7. just because someone does work on your forum, and when done you delete it all, does not mean you don't owe them anything and you are back to square one. if someone put siding on your house and when done you tore it all off instead of paying them, that does not mean you don't owe them anything. obviously you don't want to do this, and I'm not going to make you finish your end of the bargain, and it's all a moot point now anyways, but the fact remains you cheated me whatever your excuse.

it becomes apparent your explanations right now are as worthless as your promise was at the beginning.
