Hi everyone so my question is I am opening a forum and I need a good name it's going to be a general forum but I can't of anything.

needs to be an easy name to remember that we do not hear heard of before. And it suits well

It's sort of subjective to some degree. I mean, some like generic names (like me) and some want names like "MagicForum.com". Anyway, there are really no rules, but certain names might seem too long, hard to pronounce etc. to many.

Look up a thesaurus for the word chat. Names come up from banter to repartee (A French word).

Also there are domain hacks. For instance, TheDiscussion.Club etc..

Here's a good one... MindsConnected. As in, your forum having these niches and your member base having the similar interests as you 🙂

Gaming and Music and tech.

Gamute.com
Gamutech.com
mugatech.com
TGM or MGT or GMTportal.com
GameMuTe.com
GMTech.com
TMGame.com
GTMusic.com

How about this? I really like suggesting domain names LOL.

I still think you'd do better in a more specific niche.

All of the successful forums I've started have been themed about problems people have.

Alternatively replace forums that have closed down. So many forums are closing, there are opportunities all over the place.

akickback.com
whateverforums.com
generalchatting.com
thefunforums.com
agreatforum.com
finalcommunity.com

Maybe TechnologicalWave.com? Technological referring to games and technology and Wave referring to a soundwave for music.

Brandable nonsense could work - as long as it doesn't sound like something that isn't a general discussion forum.

Like my new domain Dobexa - sounds too health-related for a general forum.
