Opinion about putting music on your blog?

What do you think about doing a thing like this? I know that everyone has their music preferences and that the atmosphere of a physical and digital environment can affect the clients' and or viewers' satisfaction. Psychologically, a customer with fine taste in music won't take kindly to a blog with various or random kinds of songs. Is this move risky? Could it potentially turn off your target base? What advice would you give to new bloggers to make your blog more comfortable for viewer traffic? Are they are any additions that you make to your blogosphere?

If I load a page and there's any audio, I just immediately close the tab. I don't care what it is; it's obnoxious.

I don't think it is a good idea to upload an video music on your blog unless your blog are allowing people to listen on music there. It can make your site load slowly and your visitors can leave your site because of that.

You you do have the option then have it so that it doesn't play unless the user wants it to play

Same here, I am definitely turned off by a webpage with an audio. When using my laptop, it's just fine because the speakers are muted (as per office regulation) but when I'm using another device, the sound infuriates me. Even the online newspaper here, some webpages have a sound. Anyway, when the webpage has a sound, whether I can hear it or not, it slows down the display. Am I right on this?

if you use music , audience can think there is a advertisement in your website

You can add music on your blog, but it must not be automatic.
They must have the choice to play music. If you add music that plays
in the background, they will leave and think it's an advertisement on your site.

Don't put it on automatically. Make sure there's a choice, so there are different varieties. If you put it on automatically, then it could annoy people. Also don't put it on too loud.
