Opinions and suggestions for ForumCoin please?

I like the name and the theme of it probs add more things to the shop otherwise everything seems great 8.5/10
 
Thanks for the suggestion Hacked, we don't have Steam gift cards at this time, but it is something that has actually been mentioned in the past, so we may add it in the near future to see if our members enjoy the service.

I will start of with the activity on the forum is pretty good, not the best but good.
Secondly the post activity is also very good I just checked and there were posts that have been made within minutes apart.
Lastly I don't really like the theme it feels very cramped and not open and free, if you get what I mean (it is simplistic which is generally the way to go but something more appealing would look fantastic).

Your forum would look great on Xenforo and getting a theme 🙂

More width on the category/forum area, instead of having it stuck together, but over than that it looks ok.

To be honest they could do but I don't think it would be really worth it, but who knows.
 
Thanks everyone for the feedback. phpBB is working well for us at the moment and we have no immediate plans to change forum software. Vaador, will give some thought to your suggestion re the width.

Anyone else?
 
Having posted here, I think I have a good perspective for a review so here it goes.

The theme is boring. I think you could easily attract more people and get tons of new posts.

I understand the whole "quality over quantity" thing but there has to be a point where new posts can't be made because there isn't anything to add other than "I agree to what everyone else has said." Which makes old threads die out fast and would end up being a death sentence for your forum. I understand that FC can be used to purchase real world items like gift cards so you don't want to make it easy but when I was posting my posts, it took me so long because I was struggling to come up with good, longer, posts to make so I wouldn't get messages that my post wasn't good enough.

If I wasn't helping you out, after that first time getting that message I would have left. There would be no reason for me to stay. I would think any normal member would feel the same way.

Logo looks nice and matches the whole site's aesthetic.

The link in the bottom (in the red) doesn't work. It comes up to sites that no longer work anymore. The link I'm referring to is host domain info.
 
I love your idea of the forum and congratulations over your milestones. Everything seems nice. Staff team seems good to me. But if there was one thing I would change is the theme. But that's just me. How long have you been using the current theme?
