What are your thoughts on my new blog theme at http://www.JD.pe? Anything you would change?

Looks great dude. Only thing I'd change is the tweet widgets ... it's super long.
Ah okay - what do you think I should have in the blank space?

Do any photography? (Could have a flickr widget), or you could put up an image or some text promoting some of the shop stuff some more. Could also add a widget for the most popular posts.

There's really a bunch of stuff you can do with the blank space.

Thanks for the ideas. I've added a feed into it, and I'll add some images later!

Not bad, definitely an improvement from your previous theme. I'm a big fan of the large featured images too. No complaints.

You weren't a fan? I loved the homepage, the blog page sucked though 😛 Thanks!

It loaded a tad bit slow for me compared to other sites (using the same Wifi), but it could just be an odd occurrence.

Overall, the site looks great. It's clean, easy to navigate, and reading the blog posts is easy.
Only thing I would really change is your current favicon. It'd be cool if it matched your theme.

Oh yeah, Twitter feed is definitely very long.
I'd cut it down a bit, to show maybe 5-8 at a time.
If you need some fillers you could try what was suggested above or perhaps one of the following...
> An advertisement, or a block of adsense
> A photo that links to a photo gallery
> A featured (or random) post blurb
> Your Facebook feed (I'm not sure if this is possible)
> Contact details

Whatever you do, just cut down that Twitter feed a bit. People like me don't read Twitter feeds anyways, so it's basically just blank space (for people like me).

It's something I'm doing when I finish work 🙂 I will probably just change the colour of the circle to the blue I have in the header.

Nice, nice.
Jamie, I just edited my post so please go check for the extra feedback I added at the end of my post.

Thanks, I'll look into changing the API when I get back to limit the tweets that show. I may add an ad block in there but I'm not too fussed about earning off it really, I may just add in some images with links to pages/posts.

Not really, it didn't put much of a focus on the blog and as you said, the blog design itself was quite lacking. This is a much better theme.

Did you go with the free version or did you pay for the extra premium features?

Free version for now, I'm upgrading it on pay day (25th).

I do not really like the full length Twitter Field on the side. Maybe that is just me though 😛

Besides that, the rest of the site is awesome!

You share the same thoughts as others 😛 changing it shortly.
