Do you have a certain way you put your boards?
I tend to have the Admin & Info more towards the top. As well as Introductions. Games at the bottom.

I try to trim the fat and keep the board as condensed as possible. I feel 'less is more' in most cases.

Some websites have a website and announcement to intro boards at the top or others have it on the bottom of the boards, Why is that? Just making people look at the best before the last. I mean the old ways I say that people still got then the new ways.

I tend to change it around every so often. Keep it a bit fresh.

I have the staff lounge at the bottom. The introductions and news area is at the top. Everything else is in the middle but I do try to keep things organized.

Anymore, I try to do it that way.

One board with 2,000 posts looks better than 10 boards with 200 posts in each of them, right?

I keep the niche boards at the top so that is what the potential member and member see's first.

I put the off topic on the bottom of the main niche category.

Then the news and help forum is on the very bottom on public view

Staff forums are on the very very bottom - I don't put staff boards up to because I feel it will encourage them to use the main boards first if they see them first.

I like to show intro, rules and light chit-char boards on the top and more serious topics on the bottom. I don't want to scare members immediately. LOL

When it comes to organizing a forum I always like to keep the important forums at the top such as announcements and then followed by an introduction board and a suggestions board. The staff forums I will always have at the very bottom of the board as I feel that makes more sense as it will only be the staff that will see that area. I do like to have some subforums as well but I don't like to go over the top with them to keep the main page looking clean.
