Street foods are very popular here. They are some of the best foods in our country. Are you planning to have a vacation in the Philippines? Here are some famous street foods to check out.

Grilled foods are some of the popular street foods here such as barbecue, hotdog, chicken and pork intestines (known as isaw), grilled squid, chicken feet, and curdled blood cubes (well known as dugo).

Fried street foods are also very popular here. Some of these foods are fish ball, squid ball, chicken balls, and kikiam. Most of them taste like sea foods.

Another popular street food here is green mango on stick topped with shrimp paste. This is one of my favorite street foods.

We also have a sweet street food, the iced scramble. It's a snack topped with powdered milk, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and marshmallows. Kids and teenagers like this very much.

Lastly, we have a healthy street food called taho. It is made of tofu topped with syrup and our so called sago (the one you see in pearl shakes). This is usually for breakfast.

You may want to check them out once you pay a visit in our country in the future. I hope you get to try and enjoy them.

Looks good but I bet there is massive market saturation for that business.

This is not to dilute your topic, no offense. Last week, the local government of Manila closed the street food vendors in the so called University belt due to sanitary and health reasons. Many students got sick, according to the reason. The authorities called the place "hepa lane" to mean it can spread hepatitis. But the vendors came back with vengeance and renamed the place "happy lane" and opened their kiosks again. Unfortunately for them, the authorities are bent on closing the street food kiosks for lack of sanitary permit.
