Overall Site Design Opinion

I just need to have some users opinions on what they think about the overall site design so far I have been working very hard over the last couple of weeks so need to know some honest opinions and what could be fixed or changed

(report bugs but please don't include them as something to change)

Why is it so hard for people to give me some feedback I have been working very hard more then a forum owner since I am doing this whole project from the ground up.

I'll help you out.

1. Get rid of that potato in the index page.
2. Instead of using *, why don't you list things like this?

<li>item 2</li>
<li>item 3</li>
</ul>

3. Instead of having icons on the header, turn those into text. At first, I was confused on what those icons meant until I clicked on them.

That's all I can think of for now.

Spelling and grammar could definitely use some work. Not too fond of the potato images. A logo would be good instead of the Halloween pumpkin. "Services" is uneven. Good luck.

Meowstic I honestly disagree with getting rid of the Potato otherwise it wouldn't be "Spud" Markos I might as will change the name as will and only thing I don't get people buy Apple products but they use a Fruit logo I might be looking at it in the wrong concept but it is strange and I don't want to be the same as any other site it's just different.

For the UL instead of * <br> would be a lot better and I would start making those required changes now.

As for the Icons depending if your on PC or mobile you can hover over the icons and it tells you the title of the link if that is still annoying I will also make those changes.

EMPIRE what part of the site are you referring too? I know a couple of features are not fully mobile compatible yet but I am working on that.

Annabelle i'm not sure if you have tested the functionality first but it's more then a logo it's a button that turns the site dark Halloween all though I do need a logo.

Only thing I am not sure about is getting rid of the potato as that's what makes Spud Markos to be "Spud" Markos but if I get too many complaints I will definitely remove it.
And sorry for my poor grammar should of used spell check before I posted some things that's pretty stupid and idiotic on my behalf but I will fix all grammatical errors and in the future keep spelling and grammar the best it can be.

I am also working on mobile responsibility I work on it from my local machine then I transfer it to the live site so I should have some updates with what you all of suggested here.

As for the cool looking potato I think it's good and very different that's why it's called "Spud" Markos and I am trying to target gamers which usually have the cool personality.

but the rest of the updates are being applied as I speak.

I will eventually add an option where users can change the Potato icon if they don't like it as I have gotten positive and negative feedback with that so I suppose each to there own there guess it's one of those things which is too different.
