Do you own or rent your home?

I own a home. I have half of it the purchase price paid off and my mortgage is fairly inexpensive.

I rent, but I own an apartment in another city that I rent out, and that revenue pays for my own rent 🙂

I live in a home with two other people we own the home outright. I have been owning homes for the last 10 years now. And since I'm 29 years old maybe I will try and keep that going 😉 not to worry about renting. and with no mortgage

We own our own home. We are debt-free. I am an introvert & love nature so living in an apartment, trailer, just renting period is not for me. I need the open space. However, I can see those who prefer to rent. It does have its pros. It is hard to have upkeep on a house with land.
@Aerodynamic Thank you for sharing a drone shot with us 🙂

We own our home. We bought our first home when we were in our 20s and first married and then we did the smart thing and laddered up to a better home 5 years later. Then we stayed in that home for too long but laddered up again when we moved out here to where we live now. IF we were smart, we'd ladder up again, but I'm tired of moving.

Well, other then to downgrade

I rent myself as I find it easier for me to be able to manage than owning my own home. Recently house prices have risen to extortionate prices and it's sad to see. It's definitely not easy anymore to be a first-time buyer and get on the property ladder even if I would want to. Renting is much less stressful for me and I feel like I am secure with a roof over my head.
