The site is worth what the buyer thinks its worth. And the seller has to agree with that price. Let me put it this way: I bought PSVitaForum which had close to 10 thousand members by the time I bought it. Consistently has 100 users online, and consistently maintains thousands of views every day. You know how much I bought it? $600. Should be worth more. I got extremely lucky there. I almost bought it for $1,000 but the guy wanted to sell it quickly.

Personally, I wouldn't ever utilize those types of websites to appraise a website. Those things are not accurate. Where do they get such a specific amount like $35,448? That's incredibly arbitrary.

IPB is one of the best software to use and I agree but end of the day I think XenForo is the best for FP.

@Carlos X @CrypticMenace Everyone has different thoughts and what they like. But end of the day everyone has to agree and comes down to what is the best regards FP.

I can say that I don't think FP will be moved to another software.

Memes aside, I kinda like the idea simply because I don't see as much of it and the market feels saturated with XenForo sites with a similar feel. But then again, why rock the boat for questionable benefits.

Honest question though, what does XF have that IPB doesn't? Personally, XF1 feels really outdated by now and XF2 was a disappointment that only seemed to add some minor improvements overall.

Haven't used IPB in ages, although it does seem to have more things in the core than XenForo does. XenForo requires a lot of plugins to do anything.
That said, moving from one software to another is a huge endeavour and problematic if IPB isn't significantly superior to XenForo.

The biggest problem with IPB really, seems to be how many pieces of software they maintain, they're simply stretched too thin and have split their attention up too much, and thus can't deal with Xenforo that well, otherwise XenForo would have been dead in the water years ago.

Even if you think that, For any software, there are always going to be plugins (free or paid). I say IPB as @Azareal says which I agree that it has allot more in it's core then other software and very good easy ACP with everything that you need. Then again you do get what you pay for with it's 4 major addons. XF1 is outdated (of course) but still see major of sites using XF1 and XF2 has nice futures, but comes down to who prefers.
