P8i's New Logo!

After many failed attempts, I think I finally created something that's both aesthetically pleasing and brandable.

Here's the new logo for my gaming/technology forum (P8i):



Thoughts?

I like it. The colors are certainly nice, font is plain and simple and the typography is solid. The only thing that bothers me, is it looks like the "m" on ".com" is just slightly hanging over the banner. I don't know if it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but that's about the only thing that I dislike.

I actually like it. Simple and clean. I feel the "interactive" banner is a bit left off from the overall "Play 8", but maybe it's just me. I like your idea of putting "interactive" in a stand-alone banner, though.

Yes, I think that just may be an illusion of the eye. I went back and checked and it seems to be perfectly aligned. I think it's the texture behind it, or the fact that there's a slight drop shadow, that makes it look like it's not.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, I see what you mean. They are kind of separate entities. But the goal going in was to take 'INTERACTIVE' out of the flow and to, I guess, emphasize it in a different way.
