I used a former PBN domain that I owned to install my forum on - as a result the domain and page authority of the domain itself are 30+
How important do you think this is for a forum and as my forum is installed on domain.com/forums - I have done a 301 redirect from the root of the domain to the forum directory. I felt this was a way of giving the forum some credibility while starting off and showed people that were into marketing and SEO etc that we were reliable.
Thoughts?
