Padding

I added 50px of padding using the web developer tools in my browser but when I go to the style sheet I can't find the same line.. Modifying it also has no effect.





All I want to do is add 50px padding to the right / left of the element. It works when modifying the line in the web developer tool but not when modifying the Stylesheet. This is for phpbb. I Refreshed the templates and themes of the style and purged the cache but it didn't change.

It's probably getting overruled by a more specific selector's padding. You could cheat and add !important to the end of the line, however that is hacky and could break some other elements.
