Do you have a high pain thresh hold? The reason I ask is because I just stood on a plug which is arguably just as sore as standing on a bit of Lego!! I like to think I have a fairly high pain threshold lol

Wow. That's pretty hardcore. Cheers to your steel foot! 😀

I guess I have a high pain threshold. I mean, I punch walls to feel manly. 😀

I have a high pain threshold. Sure, if something hurts, it hurts, but I usually just curse and shrug it off. I've actually had two severe injuries when I was in my early twenties, and they didn't really feel bad to the point of tears or anything.

Ah but can you stand on Lego without wanting to cry?

Even the manliest of men can't withstand the Lego foot pain!

I think anyone that says standing on Lego/plugs doesn't hurt is obviously lying or has never experienced it before!

I have an extremely high pain thresh-hold. Psht, forget lego; try a whole packet of pins that your little cousin has just thrown on the floor.

Try stepping on a nail. Pretty good pain threshold if it was in the heel area, and one can waddle over to a chair without any help after it happens.

It happened to me, and I didn't know what I stepped on, till I went to take off my shoe to see what caused me to wonder why my foot wouldn't go all the way down to the ground till I forced my foot to go down.

Should have been looking, but what can one do when one is walking backwards while carrying something with someone, that is needed for siding and roofing repair, and no one warns you that you are about to step or bump into something.

It hurt pretty good, considering the fact that it was a standard nail that went a short distance into my foot, good thing I was wearing a pretty thick shoe at the time.

Sounds pretty horrible, I hope you gave your foot a really good cleaning after that because you could have got an infection.

mine is really terrible. Even the slightest small thing hurts me. Lame, I know. xD

So you were pretty much born with a terrible pain thresh hold? What's the tiniest thing that has ever hurt you then, Mika?

probably a tiny lego piece (like the OP) or stepping on a plug. Ouch, did that hurt or what? xD

I used to walk barefoot a lot, I had my fair share of stepping on rocks and such, yeah it HURTS, but I didn't like cry over it.

It really matters where I'm getting hurt. Like my arms are really sensitive for some reason. It KILLS me when I'm punched, pinched, slapped on the arm. But otherwise I can pretty much handle it. 😛

Some of physical pain is in your head, so if you don't psych yourself out, you can withstand more of it.

Apparently swearing increases your pain tolerance? I heard that on the tv programme 'Embarrassing Bodies'.

I can believe it since most people who hit themselves swear and then shortly after they are okay. I guess it's more of a reaction from it rather than holding the pain in? 😛

I don't handle pain very well. I crumble to it very quickly. Especially emotionally. It's sad, really.

That made me think; and I think it's true. Hmmmm. 🙂
